Southern Kids?

Up until a couple months ago I barely knew what smocking meant let alone Jon Jon’s or Shortalls but southern friends Anne, Kate and Bruce have made it all clear.  Although it’s just not in me to assimilate, I appreciate the look (especially for girls) and will embrace it if it’s a gift:)  So here is Stelly’s first smock dress…so very cute…I must admit.  Joan and Jim Carroll sent this to her in the mail last week…I’ve been itching to put her in it to show my southern friends!

Aston wanted to wear his “golf hat” this morning because Daddy had his Titleist hat on…I know it’s not Jon Jon’s but sorta southern-like?

must get schooled on what the "jon jon" is. i've got shortall and longall though. these darn southerners.... the smocked dress was even cuter in person! we just have to embrace the smocking! :)
