On Friday morning the boys got up early, got dressed in their less than adequate golf gear (it was like 30 degrees and they both had little more than a long-sleeved-T on), and headed out for the Walnut Cove Member/Guest tourney. They blamed their poor performance on the weather (scores posted in the below movie):) All the while...Trish and I were basking in luxury at the Spa at Biltmore Village. We each got a 90 minute massage and added a 15 minute foot/leg treatment...h.e.a.v.e.n...
Friday night was a cocktail hour with Tiger and Jim Anthony (founder of the Cliffs). We mingled only slightly with Tiger as we were late to the party but then he spoke to the group as a whole to get us excited about High Carolina and how he plans to make his course excel above the rest. Overall I felt like he was much more down to earth, laid back, humble...what have you...than he has been in years passed...especially compared to last year:(
On Saturday TW did a group clinic at Walnut Cove where all the members/guests could just shout out questions and he would answer/demonstrate. Much of the below video is coverage of the clinic. Post-Clinic the Hosmers and the Lees drove back up to the top of High Carolina for an amazing view and lunch catered by the Cliffs. The food was outstanding, the view was spectacular and the company was perfection! Thanks Hosmers for sharing this special time with us...
