On Thanksgiving day before heading over to BB's house for the meal we attempted a little photo shoot...the goal: a Christmas card photo
it started out like this...
Stell wouldn't sit or get down...she was a mommy cling-on
hence this photo (left) that ended up on the card...
Here I put her down and ran...Aston was given instruction to hold her hand so she didn't jump off the edge of, what will be, the pool bench...
at least the boys were happy...
Mei was first at the table, fork in hand, as usual...
Here's the scene...it was a beautiful turkey dinner put out by BB and BB only...someday I will help...really!
Ok...notice the plate to the left of this silly head...Jeff made it in kindergarten and Aston uses it every time we dine at Beebs...Mama Anne's been on me for years to explain this plate and this year I finally remembered to give it a shout out
Tai Grandma won $200 on a cruise ship recently. She gave each kid a a 100 dollar bill in the traditional "red envelope" for the kids to keep as good luck...if only they knew just how much that really is! BTW...check out those nails...yucko Bud!
Aunt Wook inevitably becomes a jungle gym when we all get together...they LOVE them some Aunt Wook!
and...how lucky were we that Dao, Thang and Jacob joined us for dessert! Aston had a blast Jacob! Thanks so much for coming....

oh great pictures and love the smooches picture of you and stell that made it on the card! xmas card photos are always though. again thanks so much for including us that day. we feel so blessed to be a part of it and jacob had a BLAST! didn't want to go home. btw i love that shot you took of the whole table and everyone sitting down and story about the plate. so sweet :-)
So duh! I didn't place that the cmas photos were poolside. cool!! love you and stelly lips (like i've already noted) and just ADORE the pouty face stell and asty. that is priceless. i'm a little nervous about the edge jumping but assuming it's not as precarious as it sounds.

can't get over the pool/new renovation!! can't wait to see it done -- looks amazing already! such cute christmas pics -- didn't realize you guys were out there. :) thanksgiving looks like much fun - love all the generations (and aston giving the tour - too cute). love the wrestling on the floor w/ auntie and love that dao and fam joined. so special!! (their family pic rocks!)

love seeing the Christmas card pictures in full. the skies and perspective on those are awesome. great use of your under construction pool and porch.
how wonderful to share your holiday with so much family and friends--and not have to travel or cook, right?? :)
