Disney 2010 - The Movie

I have desperately wanted to create one of these awesome movies since my friend Brooke started creating them weeks ago now. Anne just cranked one out of our Blowing Rock trip too...that is ABSOLUTELY amazing...I will share that with you later. So finally, with many many hours of trial and error, I finished this video of our wondrous family vacation to Disney World to celebrate our baby's first birthday...I will post the remaining stills later so they can be printed to book format at the end of the year...OH! and w.a.r.n.i.n.g...you will need 16 minutes and 25 seconds of free time to watch this masterpiece:)

Disney 2010 -Mei 1st Birthday from kate Lee on Vimeo.

A special thanks again to Babs for organizing the trip and arranging for our perfect accommodations...OXOXO

Kate -- you did an awesome job on this. Whew! You guys had a huge trip -- and this will be such a fun way to remember it. Can't get over all the fun stuff! Loved Aston jumping in the spray ground. Loved the entire bday party -- couldn't get over the size of Stellyn's cake...haha. Loved that she got a Pooh guy (after reading that she loved Pooh at the breakfast) and loved watching Aston bring it to her and seeing him love all over her. (During this part there was a bday song that mentioned "princess" and Griffin looked at me and said, "Is she a princess, mommy?!" Noah shouted out a minute later and said, "mom! she is naked! i see her buns!" haha) Loved the pics of Stellyn sleeping on your dad and the two of them in the Disney store. So many good ones of you and Stellyn!! Loved the one of you two when you were laughing after she drank/spilled water. The water park -- so fun!! Loved the shots of Stellyn's shoes w/ the cool coloring effect. And, the b&w close up of her face - oh my goodness - beautiful. Such a great video!! :)

What a great way to celebrate Stelly's first birthday. Everyone had fun. The afternoon at the pool had Stellyn going underwater with no crying thanks to Beverly's gentle dunking. Stelly, don't tell your Mom, but she would sit you on the plastic waterslide to go down. Your feet would go up and down you'd go on your back. You liked it but if you're a little goofy when you're older, you know why.

Kate - you rocked it, that was amazing, i could have kept watching more and more. What a great trip, such great memories.
Loved the pictures of you and Stellyn drinking water and then half of it spilling out the side of the cup. Loved all the pictures of everyone sliding down the water slide, loved the pure joy on Aston's face being the big brother, loved Stellyn in her white ruffle dress with the high-top sneakers on.
Great Job!!!

FROM BB: What a fabulous job you did making this video! You captured all the highlights of the memorable trip. How great was it that the BDay girl, you, DD, Asty and all the grandparents were able to get together to celebrate Stelly's 1st BDay. What a happy upbeat video though I was a little sad watching it cause it reminded me of the videos that are shown at weddings, etc when the kids are all grown up all too soon.

Great job - loved it!

Kate, This video is amazing! The music was perfect...especially the Mambo Disney, Happy Birthday Princess and the Birthday Suit song! You are a true artist! Loved the birthday party pictures with the historic Disney party hats (cica 1982!!!), the morning at the pool,Aston at Magic Kingdom and the Safari ride!!
This was a wonderful way to capture a most memorable family Disney celebration! Thank you Babs and BeBe for arranging and including us in this fabulous family event! Love, Gram and Chuck

ok totally teared up at the end. what is it with these movies. they're so emotional for me. i love it. love it. love it. my favorite part is that mama kate is all over it. other fave parts: bb going down the slide. mei going down slide. asty and mei and poo at bday dinner. the format of the movie. the song relevance. any picture of you laughing, esp with stelly. wide angle shots with blue skies. asty chillin on lounge chair. and the black and white pic of you huggin on the kids.
i'm sure we'll watch this a million more times and have more to say but this is my first run. you did good. real good. i love brooke for getting us on this.

another great video (i guess i'm watching them in backwards order). is this all imovie editing or do you use another software?
ella had a birthday card last year that sang that 'happy birthday, princess' song when you opened it. can't tell you how many times i've heard that first line over the past year. :)
