Christmas 2010 Week/Eve

So now that Aston is already making his "list" and checked it 55 times for Christmas 2011, I am getting around to posting about Christmas 2010...

In the days leading up to the big day....

We opened this present from Stell...Jeff and I were so blown away by how cool it was...she made it in school and wrapped it up for us for Christmas....she was so proud of it...like she is of all her artwork...

We opened this...also made by Aston in school...I want to know how the heck they got the prints to be so perfect!

We had our annual Christmas Eve (although this year is was on Christmas Eve Eve:)) dinner at Aunt wook's house and the kids were allowed to open one gift from Tai Grandma and Tai Yeh to play with ...

Stell got a baby doll that looks just like Baby Wookie so that's what we named her:) and Aston got a John Deer bouncy dump truck!

The stockings by GG Sybil were hung by the chimney with care...

and we opened a gift from Gram...a smaller Simon Pearce Glass Tree to add to the bigger one we got last year...

20101224-DSC_1028.jpg

The kids decorated a giant gingerbread man for Santa to snack on...

we played with our new sticker books...

picked one gift to open on Christmas Eve night...Aston chose his gift from Jacob...and awesome Spiderman (Mei pronounces as "simmy-dom") Car!!!!!!

Did a little dancing...

put out Santa's snack (Aston was convince Santa preferred chocolate milk)...

20101224-DSC_1064.jpg

Stell was convinced it was a community snack...I mean...who the heck is this Santa guy anyway?

20101224-DSC_1069.jpg

Daddy read the bedtime story downstairs by the Christmas Tree...'Twas the Night Before Christmas...of course...

20101224-DSC_1080.jpg

In the end Daddy decided Santa preferred rum infused eggnog instead...and one for Mrs. Claus too:)

20101224-DSC_1088.jpg

and when the children were nestled all snug in their beds....The Claus' diligently put together this awesome doll house for Mei...

while Mommy and Daddy wrapped the last of the family gifts...(I get emotional about this one...I loved that this year Aston got excited about picking out a gift for his sister)

and at last the stockings were filled...to all a good night...

Pretty impressive. You managed to grace the aunts and grandparents with your visits and attention AND had a quality family Christmas.

You do such an awesome job creating the "magic" of Christmas that no wonder Aston is counting down for Christmas 2011!

Yes, the artwork is the best! Loved the stockings hanging on the fireplace, the doll house was amazing, alot of hard work went into that assembly required :) Loved the huge gingerbread man and the special drink for santa & Mrs. Clause.
