Mr. Hoppy

You may expect Mr. Hoppy to be a bunny rabbit since these were taken during Easter week but NO! Mr. Hoppy hopped into our lives on Thursday and certainly brightened Aston's day. Stell kept her distance but of course Aston walked right up to him and started petting him. From then on they were BFFs. Mr. Hoppy literally followed him around the pool and then jumped right onto his back! Aston acted like this happens everyday...not a flinch...

I've been holding off on the release of these photos because I keep wanting the project to be DONE before the big reveal but now I'm realizing that I will be making excuses for months about why it's not finished enough to post pictures...so here they are...this is why I've been slightly amiss for the last six months...and no it's not over yet...

These were all taken 3+ weeks ago but really there isn't much new to show...

Food Lion Auto Show

If you want to see Aston in his element invite him along to an auto show. BB and Babs invited Asty, Mei and me to Lowe's Motor Speedway for the Food Lion Auto Show last Friday afternoon. We never even made it in the show itself. We merely wandered outside the gates looking at some fun old cars/hot rods that were up for auction and then hiked through the massive stadium seating where we had a bird's eye view of the show.

This was the first car we came across...Aston loved it because it resembled one of his favorite characters from Cars the movie, Snot Rod. He's on his tippies because he insisted on looking up the nose of the car to check out the engine.
