So on Palm Sunday Dao came over to shoot our family. She shot us in our own cozy element, at our newly updated home, which made it natural for us all to be at ease. The kids' cooperation was my number one concern and I was pleasantly surprised with the way they behaved...but duh of course it worked so well...they love Mrs. Dao and would do anything for her. I get really weird about getting photographed...I start shaking, sweating, squinting, hiding and semi-hyperventilating. Needless to say I felt none of that on this day...because on this day it was Dao behind the camera, directing my moves, bribing my children and telling me when I was boob flashing her (bad shirt choice).
Needless-to-say, these photos are so special to me. Frankly they tell a little story about how the 4 of us roll. All the silly, bored, grumpy, happy and goofy faces show a progression of just how difficult the journey of photographing a family with toddlers really is! ...and for that reason...no photo was left behind.
Our family's story through the lens of Dao Nguyen:
Mrs. Dao makes these really cool cake pops too...see...no lyin'...amazing...

This was a truly special day for the Lee family. We will remember it forever and can't thank Dao enough for all that she is...swimming in all her a.maz.ing.ness.
