Yesterday Aunt Regina said goodbye to her 2 Jaguars and bought herself a Mercedes E63 AMG from Hendrick Mercedes. She asked if Babs would go along to help her negotiate the price. He is the best haggler in town…ask Hendrick Mercedes…they will agree. BB and Babs babysat over night on Friday night and took Aston with them to the dealership on Saturday morning while Mei and I were enjoying some bonding time and Jeff caddied for his friend Scott in the City AM Golf tourney. Can you think of a better place to bring Aston? Bottom line, according to BB and Babs, Aston astounded the entire dealership staff with his knowledge of cars…Example: they asked him where the exhaust was on the McLaren SLR supercar they had in the showroom and he knew it had special side exhaust so he went to the side of the car and squatted down to eye level with the exhaust and pointed…jaws dropped.
He came home with a fat lip (fell running down a ramp while looking at a car instead of the path in front of him) and a BRAND NEW BLUE MERCEDES! Regina, as a last move in her negotiating efforts, requested that they throw in the Kids Ride-in Battery Powered Mercedes SLK Convertible for Aston…the very one he was glued to in the showroom for the majority of the morning while the grownups haggled. They accepted! Today he had his first driving lesson…here’s how it went:

Griffin loved watching this. He kept saying, "more Aston! More Aston!" Awesome wheels....more dealerships should throw in cars...would be great marketing. Though, poor Griff would be stuck with an oh-so-practical minivan. :)
