Next week we will be loosing a key part to our little playgroup that we formed from our baby yoga class when the babes were just 6-10 weeks old. Amy and Zoe will be moving to DC for a year:( We have been so fortunate to have Amy as our planner and coordinator throughout the last 2 years…we are so glad this will only be a temporary move! They are leaving next week but plan on returning to Charlotte 1x per month…plan is…a girls night every time she comes back!
On Thursday 8 of us got together for a farewell dinner at Brio…left to right: Amy, Caitlin, Anne, Denise, Kathryn, me (not shown: Louise and Heather left just before…of course we forgot to take the photo until we were waiting at the valet)
On Wednesday I hosted playgroup at Barnes and Noble. Amy wanted a group photo so that Zoe could make a collage of her friends to bring with her. I brought some organic lollipops (wanted sugar free but apparently those don’t exist…organic suckers at least sounded a little better than “dum dums”?). I had Jeff buy them for me at Trader Joe’s to keep them seated and orderly (Anne’s excellent idea). am literally crying at the hat pic - seriously - who are those babies and where did they go? marcus didn't recognize emi at all - great post - love the bye bye... amy and crew will def be missed.
