Weight: 16lbs 2.8oz (50-75th percentile)
Height: 26.5inches (75th percentile)
Head: 43cms (50-75th percentile)
Shots: 3rd doses of the following…Polio/DTaP/Hib all in one, Pneumococcal Disease and then Rotavirus by mouth
Foods:
- All yellow and green veggies, some fruits (she’s more of a veggie fan), cereal mixed into everything.
- Has not taken a bottle since 4 months just like her brother:(
- Apparently we are supposed to do meats first with babies who are breastfed…this just in from Dr. Richter. oops…
- We also mix active culture powder in her food to help with her CRONIC diarrhea:( It does seem to help btw.
Notables:
- Stell sits up like a champ now and is attempting to scoot. Aston crawled at 6 months so she’s got a few weeks to “beat” him as Jeff says…everything is a competition of course
- Stell will drop a toy and scream at it with this high pitched shriek that apparently is to say “get back here right now toy”. This same sound comes out of her when she wants her brother to go away because he’s in her space.
- Started Tri-Vi-Sol liquid vitamins (A, C and D)
- Making new noises like (ba-ba-ba-ba –baaa)
- Still giving her Previcid for her reflux
- Mei’s hair is slowly but surely growing in a positive direction. She is starting to look more like a girly girl and less like a crazy woman.
- Stell is very ambidextrous:) It’s amazing what she can do with small objects
- I swear she understands some of what we say to her…like if we say “Stell are you hungry?” she whips around tries to find me and whines as if to say “feed me Moms!” (Aston now calls me “Moms”)
- Stell went through a period in the 4 and 5 month range where she would cry the WHOLE time she was in the car…that’s a long time when we are in the car for almost 2 hours a day…I am pleased to report that has lessened a ton recently
- She now falls asleep on her own (she VERY recently started this after we instituted the FERBER method last week…aka “cry it out”). For 3.5 months she was getting up as much as 7 times per night. Jeff couldn’t help me much because she wanted to feed most of the time. I was an ugly mess…I wanted to seek professional help. When she turned 6 months a couple weeks ago we felt comfortable letting her cry herself asleep. I do NOT know why we didn’t do it sooner. We did it with Aston early on and he has been a GREAT sleeper since. It’s been a week and she is MUCH MUCH better. She may get up once or twice and cries for up to 5 minutes but nothing where she can’t sooth herself back to sleep. When we started with Ferber she would cry for close to 2 hours straight…it was so much tougher on me then just going in and feeding her.
4 Months:
Eating solids for the first time…4.5 months…
Watching Asty slide from her trusty “throne”…aka…door jam bouncy…
5 Months:
I don’t think I’ve talked much about Mei’s birthmark or hemangioma, as it’s technically called, but you can see it on her back here. Dr. Richter says it will disappear by the time she a teenager but it is quite large and raised right now.
First time taking a bath by herself in her floating duck that Anne + Kate let us borrow.
Sportin’ the Ralph Lauren rain coat Kathryn + Mia gave her… 
Mei loves playing cars with her brother…in fact she has one in her hands as much as he does… 
Modeling one of my old dresses (yeah it’s smocked…don’t want to hear about it)…I make it look current with the addition of the boyfriend jean underneath:)
Mei’s favorite car is her soft squishy pig on wheels…the thing is pretty awesome…I must say. Got it at Court’s store in Blacklion (Little London)…
I am so happy the hat Dao made still fits!
As always…so amused by her big brother…
6 Months (a sneak-peek…more to come in next milestone posting):
We are lucky to have so many talented friends and family members (GG Sybil, Tai Puo, Great Nana, Aunt Regina, Dao, Betsy, and Tracy) who have made beautiful baby items for both Aston and Stellyn. I totally appreciate the amazing talents they have:) This sweater was made by our friend Tracy Brown. Stell wears it a ton now that it’s so chilly out. Love the color on her and the little heart button details…BEAUTIFUL! Thank you Tracy!

OMG...love how Stelly keeps getting cuter and cuter!! Love the pic of her in the green swing coat and the 2 with her and Jeff - so, so cute! Hmmm, Cole is still waking up 3-4 times a night, maybe we need to let him cry it out...not looking forward to that one!!
oh my goodness. so many pics/videos. feel like i'm forgetting my comments! favorite pic is stelly and jeff laughing. jeff has such a genuine laugh on his face. love it. love all the pics of stelly and all of her outfits. great update. you did good. there are several where stelly just so looks like you too. another fave is mei in her santa hat sitting up.

i need to hear more about this meat thing, huh? LOVE the pic too of stelly in kate's bath. feel like it needs to be printed and framed and put in stelly's bathroom immediately :) (just like we did with kate's duck bath picture of course). man, she's eating like a champ too. and thrilled about cry it out success. feel like 6 mos a great marker. love the sweater and flowers pics. great compliments to each other (the pinks).
oh my gosh i love this post. so many great photos and tidbits about stelly. love it. so glad the hat still fits!! adorb. i'm assuming you're still breastfeeding if stelly is not taking the bottle? what a fun age right now though. i really miss it. so so sorry about the sleepless nights, must have been awful. and the cry it out is awful to and thang deals with that much better than me. we still have to do it sometimes believe it or not. stellyn is becoming quite the fashionista already at 6 months! love all her outfits, etc. my fav is the boyfriend jean with mommy's smocked dress. way to put it together mommy, looks totally stylish!

love the stelly pics - can't believe how much she looks like aston. totally don't even remember aston that little - good grief - the outfits are the best - totally got that little soft car from littlelondon for friend's baby and they love it too - great job on updating!!!!!
went back for another look...still LOVE that santa hat "look i'm sitting up pic." now i can appreciate stelly standing up and holding on to the branch. that's so great! i was doing that some with eve this morning while she was holding on to the gate and i was so proud of her. i mean it was brief but crazy! i have made note of stelly's percentiles so i can go back next week when eve goes to the doc.
