Our local NBC station titled the storm we got this weekend "Winter Blast 2010"...although our house happened to be in a small area that wasn't hit hard, we still got enough icy mix to call snow. There was just enough to use our trusty Christmas tree base saucer (the thing that catches the water spillage from the trees) as a sled.
Mei was probably the most excited of the Lees to see the snow when she woke up...she kept crawling to the window to check it out!
DAY 1: Yesterday we made our way outside but only for a few minutes with no action sports like sledding or snow ball fights...it was just too cold...high was like 28 degrees! Notice the completely frozen over driveway.
DAY 2: Today was much warmer...the sun was out and it didn't matter that Aston doesn't own mittens to keep his fingers warm! There was much more action today...lots of sledding and snowball throwing! Jeff was captain of the sled...and like last year...I am not sure who had more fun...Daddy or Aston...Mei wasn't so sure today. I think the bright sun reflecting off the snow was bothering her. She didn't say a peep...she just sat there and took it all in.

Poor Stell she got so beat up out in the snow today...Aston ran her over twice...once on purpose and once by accident...ugh...
Then back up on the deck to throw snowballs and put the snow plow to work...
and eventually back inside to strip down to our apres snow outfits and have some yummy leftover hot and sour soup made by BB

Looks like much fun!! Love all the snowy pics - esp the 1st one of Stell solo. She's so precious. My all time fav is Aston in the boots, undies, and t-shirt. Classic boy.

love the hat asty and of course stelly's snow suit. great pic of aston close up with hat. cute ones of you and stelly and then love jeff with the kiddos on sled. so did aston just get back up and go again? kate sledded once and we can't get her back on because it was so traumatic.
ok i came back to look at the videos. aw looks like so much fun! we have to come to your place next time! poor mei mei!!!
Too fun! Haven't looked at the videos yet; I'll wait and let Zoe watch them me. Love the close-up of Aston and all the sled action shots. Love Stelly's frog pjs - Zoe has the same pair; she'll say, "I a froggie!" and jump all the house in the them. Where'd you get A's boxer briefs; they're too cute!!
Ok. Zoe and I just watched the videos - poor mei mei!! Zoe enjoyed watching A sledding...
